Meet Isabelle- Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (License # 6533)

Isabelle is a compassionate, client-centered counselor who is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. She believes in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

With a Bachelor of Social Work earned in 2023 and frontline experience, Isabelle has supported individuals and families facing a wide range of challenges including domestic violence, poverty, homelessness, addiction, mental health concerns, and trauma. Her work has spanned in early childhood education, women’s shelters, and community-based supports, giving her a deep understanding of the systemic and personal barriers people often face.

Isabelle draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, and Strength-Based approaches — all grounded in a trauma-informed framework. She is especially passionate about supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, emotional regulation, supporting those in recovery from substance misuse and interpersonal relationships.

Informed by her own mental health journey, Isabelle brings empathy and authenticity to her practice. She understands the complex emotions — guilt, shame, fear, stigma, and more — that can hold people back from seeking help. Her work is rooted in the belief that every person is capable of growth and that therapy should be tailored to align with each client’s unique strengths, values, and needs.

Outside of her work, Isabelle values meaningful social connections and enjoys spending time with friends and family, often visiting them across the provinces. She loves exploring nature — from quiet forests to wide open plains — and finds joy in discovering the beauty of different landscapes wherever she goes.

In the spirit of truth, reciprocity, and respect, I would like to acknowledge and honour that I live and work on treaty land, referred to as Treaty 4 Territory and that the City of Regina and all the people here are beneficiaries of this treaty. Treaty 4 encompasses the lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakota, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respect and honour the Treaties that were made on all territories, and acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and commit to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous Nations in the spirit of reconciliation and collaboration. I am grateful to live on this beautiful land.
